Following completion of PhD and MSc and successful Open Defense from June 2-5, 2023, Africa Center of Excellence for Climate Smart Agriculture and Biodiversity Conservation has Celebrated the graduation of Three PhD students and 11 MSc students at the Center. Twenty-Two new entry (6PhD & 16 MSc) students were also welcomed and introduced to Haramaya University Community on the Ceremony.
Post graduate director of Haramaya University Dr. Feyera Dinsa and the University’s Registrar director Dr. Yiheyis Bogale have addressed the graduating and new entry students. Dr. Feyera says to the graduates that Completion of PhD or MSc is not an end of the whole games. Graduates need to understand that the best learning is a Life-Long-Learning. As you move from here, you keep learning in your careers and that is the way learning endures. Dr. Yiheyis also acknowledged the graduates and told them to be a trusted alumnus of Haramaya University. He also advised the new entry students to grasp important lessons and experiences from graduates to be successful in their academic life in Haramaya University.
