ACE Climate SABC – Haramaya University is delighted to receive Nine new regional female MSc students from different African countries being sponsored for their studies by the World Bank (WB) through Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) who arrived at Haramaya on Monday, the 18th of December 2023 after passing the night of Sunday in Dire Dawa, a nearby city.
we also received Mr. Dickson Wanglobo and Mr. Elie Hakizimana from IUCEA at the Center. They came to check on the safe arrival of the students and to see how they have been adapting to the new environment and climate. Mr. Dickson and Mr. Elie have completed their mission at ACE Climate SABC – Haramaya University and went back to IUCEA in Kampala, Uganda today. We thank Mr. Dickson and Mr. Elie for the visit and wish the new students a fruitful stay at the Center!!!
