ACE Climate SABC – Haramaya University was represented at an international conference entitled, “Food and Nutrition Security” organised by the Natural Resources Institute (NRI) of the University of Greenwich, the UK as part of its Food and Nutrition Security Initiative (FaNSI) project held during February 20-21, 2024 in St. Mary’s Building at the University Campus at Greenwich, London, the UK. The themes of the conference were: food systems and nutrition, food loss and waste reduction, inclusive innovation for sustainable agricultural intensification, and climate change. The participants have gained tremendous knowledge from the scientific papers and posters presented and shared from the rich experiences of conference participants during their stay for the conference. NRI has also created a forum for partners to draw a roadmap for future collaboration. During the forum, NRI and all its African partner institutions expressed their willingness to promote their collaborations in the future to the next level. ACE Climate SABC’s representative is grateful to those who have organised the conference and the forum and contributed to the successes of both.
