Africa Center of Excellence for Climate Smart Agriculture and Biodiversity conservation (ACE climate SABC), the project that has interred into full operation in 2017 has successfully met beyond its vision of training 30 Ph.D. students and 80 MSc students with 44 Ph.D. and 86 MSc students. However, the center will have more than two academic years by which it is planning to have more trainees, and support the students on their studies until the termination of the project.

With the hope that the project will continue to progress, finding out sources of grants for students, the project’s staff have planned the financial requirements and strategies for the coming 2021/22 academic year from June 24-26/2021.

Finally, the staff agreed to have their own separate action plan of their respective offices for the successful implementations of the financial plans through working with different partners in and outside Ethiopia and filling gaps in generating grants in the year to come.
